Founded in late 2025, announcing the formation of The Good State Project was the final step after two years of investigative case-building, initial proceedings at a handful of tribunals and cases lodged for Judicial Review at the Administrative Court (High Court)

At The Good State Project, our mission is to notice, build cases and ultimately litigate for reformation of harmful policies and mis-functioning state infrastructure. The Good State Project believes that humble actions can have a profound impact, and it works tirelessly to create a more sustainable future for all

Timandeep Singh Gill is the Founder of The Good State Project. His portfolio of casework was developed following a serious injury caused by the pandemic lockdowns : his interest in the state formed through personal experience and engagement with our state infrastructure. After over 40 years of undiagnosed disorder, Timandeep is now registered disabled and committed to The Good State Project
Certain works of The Good State Project are protected under the Public Interest Disclosure Act 1998 ("PIDA") in combination with Article 8 ECHR and Article 10 ECHR through its natural connection to Timandeep Singh Gill
Timandeep Singh Gill is a legally-protected whistleblower based on certain protected disclosures made at the judiciary in regards to MI6 (known as the "Secret Intelligence Service") and MI5 (known as the "Security Service"), including protections for his body of public interest work under the Public Interest Disclosure Act 1998 in combination with Article 8 ECHR and Article 10 ECHR ("the relevant Whistleblower Protections"). Any correspondents with certain works of The Good State Project and Timandeep Singh Gill in general should be aware that their actions may breach whistleblowing protections and incur liability for themselves personally as well as MI6 and MI5 if their actions are shown to constitute harassment or retaliatory activity towards him, or malign interference with his work
Timandeep's case with regards to both aforementioned parties is currently subject to ongoing legal proceedings. However the formally-protected status of Timandeep Singh Gill and certain work of The Good State Project is independent of the future outcomes of those legal proceedings. As a matter of public record, The Good State Project intends to share details of the case after proceedings have concluded and any relevant disclosure restrictions have been determined
The Good State Project warmly welcomes all donations to fund its work. The main sources of cost are court filing fees and the modest salary of the Founder. The main sources of income are donations from patrons and in exceptional cases certain awards of exemplary damages as a result of litigation

Yes and No....
Whilst The Good State Project publishes its documents alongside the principle of open justice, publishes papers of topics of public interest and periodic updates, this is more like an archiving and sharing function

Yes and No....
Cases may end at the investigation stage with a real outcome to share; or may progress to legal action. There is no 'service' - the case-builder is the affected party and the self-litigator. With the help of The Good State Project of course

Yes and No....
The Good State Project only handles information in the public domain. It engages at system-level. It is akin to a counter-intelligence function : in the daily life of case-building, contributors are aware of the forces changing the world around us, the real risks to our state (beyond the headlines), and understand the surrogate value of their work to others
